Consultant Overview

Dianne M. Hoffman has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial management, lending and insurance industries. She started her career as a commercial branch manager for NationsBanc (formerly known as NCNB of North Carolina) in 1983, where she was responsible for the development of new and continuing growth of commercial bank and loan customers. Her duties also included the management and development of retail banking staff.

Dianne continued her management career with Citicorp, N.A.. in the Branch and Funds Transfer Department. In short time, she advanced to become the coordinator of the Quality Systems Integration Department, charged with managing the Employee Recognition and Reward Program.

After two years, Dianne was offered a unique management opportunity with Digital Equipment Corporation as the project administrator for a North American Wide Area Network (N. A. WAN) Communication Systems Project. As the N.A. WAN coordinator, she applied her management and financial experience in the development of project progress reports, manpower analysis, expense reporting and the coordination and communication of materials between project team members and clients.

In 1998, Dianne took her experience to the insurance sector of the financial services industry by joining Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as an office manager and later as an account service representative.  At Liberty, she was involved with providing administrative, organizational and technical support services to sales producers and insureds to ensure the retention of quality business and procurement of new business. Dianne was also the primary customer contact in addressing questions and concerns regarding client accounts, coverage and service issues. Clients included national manufacturers, distributors, contractors, truckers, public housing authorities, printers, and nursing/retirement home organizations.

Dianne joined CIC in 2001 as a member consultant. Her consultative duties include Outsource Risk Management Services involving the evaluation and management of commercial insurance programs. Dianne has worked closely with the company’s management to develop the firm’s Lender Insurance Review Services (LIRS) division. LIRS provides loan due diligence services to the commercial lending industry. Dianne’s background in both the insurance and lending industries brings an effective understanding of and perspective to the evaluation of a borrower’s risk exposures, recommendations for improvements to current programs aimed at risk elimination, reduction or transfer and protection of the lender’s insurable interests.
